It's with a whole lot of gratitude that I type this sale report out. First to our family and friends who help us pull this sale off every year... THANK YOU. They take time away from their own cattle herds and town jobs to help during the year working, processing and moving the cattle. Our appreciation runs deep for their continued support.

Secondly, we have the absolute best customer base and have met some really amazing people through the cattle business. We are blessed that they believe in us and our vision of producing genetically superior cattle that are functional and can pack some meat on their calves.

Special thanks to Mason & Miles Faulkner Farms Fleckvieh Cattle from Arkansas for the amazing shrimp boil Friday night!

Thank you,

Randy & Jen Lehman Family

Welcome to the 42nd Annual Limerock Bull & Bred Female Sale

We truly appreciate your interest in our program whether you are needing a bull, bred heifer or an open female to begin or expand your herd.  Rest assured that we have been hard on them by only selecting the best for our sale. No calves are ever creep fed and most run on native hill pastures with salt and mineral.  The bulls are never over 14lbs ground ear corn and the heifers during development only get a little corn for 30 days past weaning.

As I said in our 2023 mature cow sale, I probably missed the high market. I was right (once in a while) Last week there were 212.00+ fats and most cow guys are clearing 1,000+ per cow profit.  There is still no cow herd expansion in sight. Heifers are 40% of the daily kill and cows are still being sent at a record pace.  Hay is ½ price of what it was a year ago.  Interest is going down; fuel will go down and demand is still good for our great product BEEF.  The only thing that can stop this train is the packers or politics.

Feel free to call Bryce of myself for any questions or if you want to come view the cattle. If I don’t answer I will call ya back.  Hope to see you on the 8th!!

Thank you,

Randy
